PLEASE NOTE: This is a holiday home and as such, guests must clean on vacating. All cleaning supplies are in the apartment. Beds need only be stripped, leaving mattress protectors in place, as we will make the beds up with fresh linen after your departure. We can arrange for the apartment to be cleaned for an extra fee of $60 - please let us know if you would like this service via email, once your booking has been confirmed personally with us.
Located 15 minutes drive south of central downtown Dunedin, on the beautiful Southern Scenic Route, Ocean View offers our guests a genuine taste of true coastal kiwi lifestyle. Our semi rural, 5 acre life style block, is home of the former Ocean View School which closed in 2008. We offer comfortable, unique, apartment style accommodation, set in establishing garden grounds, that fill with the song of native birds such as the Tui and Bell Bird. The sound of the Kereru ( NZ Wood Pigeon ) is distinct as it flys overhead and this beautiful native is bountiful here on the coast. We also have pet sheep, alpacas, ducks, two gorgeous bunnies Alvin and Houdini and Molly the cat. If you have children they will love the petting zoo feel of the property.
It is simply a world away from the hustle of the city, yet so conveniently placed for getting around all the activities and sites offered locally. The rooms are bright and clean, and you control the temperature via thermostat controlled heating in each room. We offer free WiFi Internet, a small lounge with TV for your convenience, full kitchen facilities, laundry onsite with key access ( you must provide your own laundry soap, free tea/coffee/sugar. The large north/north west facing deck is a perfect spot to lay out your BBQ or the meal from the kitchen, whilst overlooking the ever evolving native garden and tennis court. The native bird songs will replenish your soul. For the more active traveller, the tennis court is always waiting and we have balls and racquets for all ages.

Modern, clean, apartment style accommodation, located in the office end of the old Ocean View School. One queen room and one room with 4 single beds. All of our mattresses and pillows are top of the range as we believe you deserve a great nights sleep. Ideal for a family of up to six or groups. All linen is supplied and we offer free WiFi.
