- The Nest Room
- The Nest Room has been completely remodelled and expanded during winter 2015. Located on the upstairs level of our Oamaru stone ?Annex? building, the Nest Room is now one of our largest rooms (and is probably our favourite), with a super-king bed that converts into twin king singles upon request, and a view out toward the Pacific Ocean and the Kakanui Ranges. With its sunken bedroom area, this room is very popular with honeymooners. The ensuite bathroom features heated tile floors and separate bath and shower, and the sitting area features a satellite television. As of January 2017, this room is equipped with a heat pump/air conditioner to ensure comfort in any weather. This room measures approximately 45 square metres (485 square feet) in total. (NB. The bed area of this room is sunken, so there are three steps down to the bed area from the entry to the room, and three steps up from the bed area to the bathroom area. Please bear this in mind when making your room selection.)
