Riesling Retreat
The Riesling Retreat is an attractive, quirky cottage in the middle of a private vineyard. There is a fully equipped kitchen, separate lounge (TV, radio, CD player with CDs), lovely romantic bedroom with beautiful bed and bath linen and also in the bedroom a large claw foot bath and shower. The loo is just through the back door outside. There is also an outside bath up on a little hill with its own linen and bubble.
A continental breakfast is supplied for the first two nights and a lovely variety of bathroom cosmetics. For your use also there are two bikes and helmets, a barbecue, sun umbrella, lounge chairs and outside tables and chairs. There is no access to Wi-Fi.
We are within easy walking distance to our lovely village, some vineyards and a bus stop is just over the road.
Arrival time is from 3 pm and late leave at 12 noon.
All this at $260 for two nights (minimum two nights) and $100 a night thereafter. Please contact the Martinborough i-site if you would like to book more than two nights. Phone 06 306 5010.
You may make arrangements with us to bring your own pet.
Please realise that if you do decide to stay at our cottage there will be chooks, our cat, birds, insects, some hedgehogs and the odd rabbit to add a rural flavour Our friendly dog will meet you at the gate but cant get to the cottage. There also may be at certain times of the year the sound of neighbouring windmills saving the grapes of impending frost or the sound of neighbouring bird scarers saving the ripe grapes from the birds
Due to an accident the Riesling Retreat is closed from April to September. Sorry for the inconvenience.
